Art and Woody: A Father and his "True Son"

Art was always very close to Woody, and with good reason. Art considered Woody to be his "true son" and had taken special effort to adopt him after his birth after a fling with a wooden cigar store indian woman after an intemperant episode. (There is a rumor that she was a "birch"!) For this reason Art considered Woody to be a part of him and made every effort to make sure little Woody grew up right, including enlisting the help of all his friends at the A&R Ranch including his sidekick Buzzy Cookman.
