Most of the above films were directed by John P. Burbank, Sr. and co-starred Dave Good Deer, Bongo, Laura Lace, Stumbler the Wonder Horse, Little Beauty the Show Fox, and a host of other characters too numerous to mention. In recent years there have been films by many stars that many have thought lost forever. Art Roamer is no different. "Art Roamer vs. The Putty People" is one such film. It's reappearance has caused controversy in some circles who maintain that only the "classic 30" are the only legitimate existing films from Art's Pacific Pictures period.
The 1960's were a rough time for everyone in the movie business. It was no different for Art's career. It even got to such a low point that he made the bizarre picture "Psychodelic Art" in order to try to be in tune with the times. Fortunately he had television work to keep things together for him until the audience climate improved.
