Artist's Comments: "In the Fall of 1996, Carlie and I made a trip
to the northeastern section of Wisconsin and explored waterfalls
there and also in adjacent areas of Michigan. We stayed at a seculed
bed and breakfast in rural Wisconsin after photographing numerous
streams and waterfalls. The waterfalls were located deep in the woods
and each required a wonderful hike. Autumn leaves and crisp fresh air
made it all seem heavenly. The rocks and clear Wisconsin water were
accented with fall leaves of every brilliant color imaginable. The
sounds of splashes and gurgles combined with the songs of birds and
of pattering feet of little creatures running wildly throughout the
birch and pine forests."
